Double crochet (dc)

You can work double crochet in rows, joined rounds, or continuous spiral rounds. Follow instructions in your pattern to know where to make your stitch.

  • Step 1

    Yarn over.

  • Step 2

    Insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop.

  • Look after step 2

  • Step 3

    Yarn over, and pull through two loops on the hook.

  • Look after Step 3

  • Step 4

    Yarn over, and pull through both loops on the hook.
